How Roadworks Company, Inc., operating as The Seoul Glow, collects and handles your personal information under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

Effective: 2026-08-04.2  ·  Controller: Roadworks Company, Inc. (로드웍스컴퍼니주식회사)  ·  Business reg. no.: 752-88-02072  ·  International-patient facilitator reg. no.: A-2025-08-01-06516

1. Who we are

The Seoul Glow is a brand operated by Roadworks Company, Inc., a company registered in the Republic of Korea and registered with the Governor of Gyeonggi Province as a facilitator for international patients (registration A-2025-08-01-06516, valid 2025-12-04 to 2028-12-03). Registered office: Da 2nd Floor, 41-9 Sinyang 1-gil, Paltan-myeon, Manse-gu, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do 18533, Republic of Korea.

Because we are a Korean company, Korea's Personal Information Protection Act applies to your information wherever in the world you are when you contact us.

2. What we collect, why, and for how long

WhatWhyHow long
Name, email, WhatsApp or phone number, country, budget range, possible travel dates To answer your enquiry and prepare a treatment plan and quote Until your enquiry is closed, then 1 year from our last contact
Health-related information — treatment of interest, the goal you describe, dietary, religious or accessibility needs To judge which procedures and which kind of clinic suit you. This is sensitive information under Article 23 and is collected only with your separate consent Until your enquiry is closed, then 1 year from our last contact
Creator Program applications — Instagram handle, follower count, age, portfolio links To assess applications to the Glow Creators programme 1 year from application
Access logs and analytics identifiers To keep the site working and understand how it is used Per the periods set by our analytics provider

We do not collect Korean resident registration numbers, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 14.

3. Sharing with partner clinics

A medical quote can only come from a medical institution. With your separate consent, we provide your enquiry to a licensed Korean partner clinic:

  • Who receives it: the licensed Korean partner clinic matched to your case. We tell you which clinic before any appointment is arranged.
  • Why: to assess your case and issue an itemised quote.
  • What: your name, contact details, country, and the health-related information above.
  • How long they keep it: under that clinic's own retention obligations as a Korean medical institution.
  • Your choice: you may refuse. We then cannot obtain a quote for you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

4. Information stored outside Korea

Legal basis: Article 28-8(1)3 of the Personal Information Protection Act — storage abroad that is necessary to perform our consultation service for you.

Items transferred Everything you submit in the consultation form, and our correspondence with you: name, email, WhatsApp or phone number, country, budget range, travel dates, and the health-related information you provide.
Country, timing and method United States and other countries where Google operates data centres. Transferred over an encrypted internet connection at the moment your message is delivered to our mailbox, and each time we open or reply to it.
Recipient Google LLC (Google Workspace / Gmail), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA — support.google.com/policies
Recipient's purpose and retention To operate the email service on our behalf. Google stores the message for as long as we keep it; when we delete it under section 7, it is deleted from the service.
How to refuse, and the effect Email us at info@theseoulglow.co.kr or write to the address in section 1. Because our correspondence runs through email, refusing means we cannot handle your enquiry by email — contact us on WhatsApp instead and we will work with you there.

Google is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes, and we require it to apply the security measures set out in the Act. If it later transfers your information onward to a third country, the same obligations follow.

5. Statutory reporting

As a registered facilitator we are required by Article 11 of the Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Healthcare System and Attraction of International Patients to report annual figures to the competent Provincial Governor by the end of February each year. That report contains nationality, sex and year of birth, together with the institution visited, department, and treatment dates. It does not contain your name or contact details. This is a legal obligation and does not depend on your consent.

6. Your rights

At any time you may ask us to:

  • show you what information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop processing it;
  • withdraw a consent you gave us — including after you have already sent an enquiry.

Email info@theseoulglow.co.kr and we will act without delay. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we lawfully did before you withdrew it. If we cannot act on a request, we will tell you why.

7. Destruction

When a retention period ends, or when the purpose is achieved and the information is no longer needed, we destroy it without delay — electronic records by permanent deletion, printed records by shredding or incineration. Where a law requires us to keep something for longer, we store it separately from live records and use it only for that legal purpose.

8. Keeping it safe

Access to enquiries is limited to the staff who handle them. Accounts are protected by strong authentication, the site is served over HTTPS, and access is reviewed periodically.

9. Cookies and behavioural information

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. When it runs, your browser sends information directly to Google, which collects it as its own operator.
