Because it is performed under general anesthesia, we hold this category to our strictest referral standard: on-site anesthesiologist through the whole operation, monitored recovery, and 3D-CT-based planning. If a clinic can't show us that, it doesn't get contouring referrals — regardless of price.

V-line (jaw contouring)
The mandible angle and chin border are reshaped in one continuous line, narrowing the lower face into a smooth "V". Typically 2–4 hours under general anesthesia with monitored recovery afterward. Major swelling subsides over 2–3 weeks; the refined line continues emerging for months. Patients bothered by a square or heavy-looking lower face are the classic candidates — though sometimes the honest answer at consultation is that masseter (muscle) reduction with Botox achieves what they want without surgery, and we'd rather tell you that.
Cheekbone (zygoma) reduction
Prominent front or side cheekbones are repositioned inward through small incisions inside the mouth and at the hairline, slimming the midface while preserving your natural cheek fullness. Frequently combined with V-line for a unified contour — a combination decision your surgeon models on your CT scan, not on a mirror estimate.
Genioplasty (chin surgery)
The chin is advanced, shortened, lengthened or narrowed to balance the profile — small bone movements with a large effect on facial harmony, especially alongside nose surgery. For patients whose concern is bite misalignment rather than chin shape alone, we refer to oral-maxillofacial specialists; two-jaw surgery is beyond the scope of standard aesthetic referral and we tell you so plainly.

How long do I need to stay in Seoul?
Plan for 10–14 days. Contouring needs longer post-operative observation than most categories, plus stitch removal and a final check before flying. We won't compress this timeline, and you should be wary of anyone who will.
How painful is recovery?
